Questions & AnswersCategory: QuestionsVisible dots on loading
Sean asked 8 years ago
Hi, I'm using Multilingualizer on this website: https://www.galerie-folia.fr/
As you can see, visitors can clearly see the dots system when the page is loading.
After a few seconds, everything comes back to normal but this is very disruptive and completely ruins the UX. It would be fantastic if you know where the problem is, that I can investigate a bit further. Have a nice day!

Hi – we have a new version being released today which fixes this area by loading the script quicker and synchronously rather than asynchronously – that means users won’t see the dots.

I still have this problem even I clear cache.

I don’t see a new version. Still 3.91
Hope the new version comes very soon.
Please update on when to expect this version.

Hi Sean,
Thank you for your custom.
Having had a look at your site, it appears that our new version has fixed the problems for you. Upon translating https://www.galerie-folia.fr/ I noticed that the dots were hidden as I selected English and French.
If there are any other issues we can help with, let us know.

Regards

John

Hi, one year has past and unfortunatly the issue still hasn’t been resolved…
The problem doesn’t happen when switching from a language to the other but rather and every single loading page. It means that every time the user clicks a link, both language are visible for maybe half a second, then a loading screen is displayed to hide the loading (the purpose of a loading screen). The loading screen should appear from the start, not delayed because at the moment it makes the navigation just dreadful !
