Numbered list/ Bulleted list appearing twice

Some of the numbers/ Bullets appear in the different language. For example, if I write:
….
*Hi
*Hi
..
*안녕
*안녕
….
what I’d see in korean would be:
*
*안녕
*안녕
and what I’d see in English would be:
*Hi
*Hi
*

I haven’t tested it thoroughly, but it looks like for bullets, all bullets except for one will appear twice, for numbers it appears like only the number 1 appears twice.
