Questions & AnswersHow to place full stop at the end of sentence?
Daniel asked 8 years ago
In my website, there are some descriptions having full stop at the end of sentence. When I translate it from EN to VN, I use ... and the system will use 2 first full stop to translate and the third full stop will be the first symbol. Please see ex and attached file. If you use the full block translation e.g. 4 dots->text1->2 dots->text2->4 dots then this shouldn’t happen.
If you have consistent problems with this, especially related to ellipses, you may wish to change the language marker from 4 dots to something else. In the code you install into your header you can see a single line that configures the marker to be 4 dots. You can change this to whatever you wish to avoid these problems.

Hello!
I have the same problem, can any of you help me with the solution?
I’ve tried changing ‘….’ for ‘++++ in header code, but I could not make it work…

Thanks!

The first thing I tried was adding a space (“end of the sentence. ..translation”), but I should not have tried it well, because now it is working for me.
So problem solved.
I’m sorry and thanks anyway!
