Since version 3.4 I added the ability to hide entire galleries for specific languages.
Add [english] anywhere in the description of any of the images in the gallery and that gallery will only be displayed to English users.
You can also use [dutch], [spanish], [french] etc.
Hello

The spanish version can be found with a different URL: http://casawabi.org/noticias/?lang=es
This method for gallery does not work for squarespace pacific template.

Hi – I will build that into the Multilingualizer for you free-of-charge if you buy the Multilingualizer. It will be straightforward enough to do and I can get it coded in today with your help to test it. Remember – you also get a 100% money-back guarantee for 6 months if you’re unhappy for any reason.
Ok, perfect. I bought the multilingualizer 😉 I have 2 pages with galleries in different language. Let me know how you can help me with it. Or how I can test it.
Ok cool – send me a link to the page with the gallery and I’ll implement a fix – just reply to your order confirmation email and I’ll get the message.
One way to implement this – if they are different pages completely – is to use some of the code to actually move the user to the different page for the different language. I haven’t fully written this up for others yet, but I’ll get the option added to the setup page so others can take advantage of it and it’ll be automated.
Hi David, did you receive my email?
Hi Muriel – I’ve implemented a fix for the galleries – all you have to do is have one image within the gallery which has [english] anywhere in the title and the Multilingualizer will only show that gallery to English speakers.
Hi David,
I think i don’t understand what you mean….
I had my dutch gallery with 1 image with [dutch] in the title and my english gallery with 1 image with [english] in the title. The result was that the correct gallery was showed and the other gallery block was visible as a grey square but with no images.
If I read your fix correct I removed the [dutch] title from the dutch gallery. The english gallery still has the [english] in the title of 1 image.
The result is as i would except.
Dutch page: correct gallery + grey block
English: both galleries visible below each other.

Maybe I don’t understand what you mean?
Or do you mean I have to create a galleries with both the english and the dutch images? But then I would have to add [english] ti alle english images not just 1 image….
