The new dropdown you are adding, it has an icon to the right of it so the code looks like this:

I know this is code, but it’s so you and others can understand why this isn’t working – the shorthand approach (just 2 dots separating text) only works on fields which have no siblings or children.
In this case, there is a <span> tag sibling.
If you switch to ….Everyday Wear..Tous les Jours…. instead of the shorthand then it should start working fine again.

Looking into your issue and trying to figure out what’s the problem Michelle. Bear with me a while. 🙂
Ok thank you. Just to give further updates;
1. I have added added tabs to my product pages and the translations work perfectly without fault
2. The above described problem has created another issue (on the home page); the content added between the home page slideshow and featured collections,shows the text in both languages whether you choose French or English
I am sure these issues are due to the ‘handles’ in the navigation menu. Are you sure you don’t want my password to access the store admin so you can check the code or something? Or is this a bug? Does anyone else have a similar problem?
