The first language you specify is the default one. It will be chosen if the users preferred language is not in your configuration.

For example, if you set up English, French, Spanish:

1. When a Spanish visitor arrives, it will show Spanish
2. When a German visitor arrives, it will show the first language – English

My first language is German and I want to add English. To have English as default for non-German speakers I understand that I need to put the English language first.

But at the moment my Squarespace main language is set to German and the custom URLs are German, too.

Wouldn’t that be a discrepancy for the SEO…!?
